The post has collected more than 500 likes within five days. Other versions of the claim were shared on X, previously known as Twitter, as per USA TODAY.

A spokesperson for American host and television producer Oprah Winfrey has cleared the confusion. The spokesperson gave a statement that Democratic nominee Kamala Harris was not using the teleprompter. Harris was not relying on the teleprompter; she was facing away from the teleprompter in the video. The teleprompter was for Oprah Winfrey, not Kamala Harris.
