The winning numbers for the September 29 Powerball drawing have been announced, with players nationwide eagerly checking tickets for a chance at the $160 million jackpot. Officials have not yet confirmed a jackpot winner, and it will roll over and grow even larger for the next drawing on October 1 if there is no winner. Secondary prizes, ranging from thousands to millions of dollars, were also awarded.

The jackpot reached an estimated $160 million after Saturday’s drawing failed to produce a winner. The top prize can be claimed as a 30-year annuity with annual payments increasing by 5%, or as a lump-sum payout of $74.2 million, both before taxes, according to powerball.com.

Earlier this month, on September 6, two tickets in Missouri and Texas split a staggering $1.787 billion Powerball jackpot, the second-largest in U.S. lottery history. That win ended a streak of 41 consecutive drawings without a grand prize winner. Powerball’s odds of 1 in 292.2 million make hitting the jackpot rare, allowing prizes to grow significantly when unclaimed.
