Diablo 4 beta version: All you need to know about Early Access

During the Diablo 4 Early Access beta, players have access to three classes: Barbarians, Rogues and Sorcerers.

The beta version of Diablo 4 has arrived, granting early access to players who have pre-ordered the game. Those who have the opportunity to experience the Early Access phase may be contemplating which of the three available classes (Barbarian, Rogue and Sorcerer) is most suitable for their playstyle.

Barbarian class

The Barbarian class in Diablo 4 is a powerful melee character that is ideal for beginners. With their multiple massive weapons, Barbarians can easily take down waves of enemies and excel in one-on-one fights. Their AoE abilities, while mostly melee-based, offer significant power and make them excellent for solo play. Skills like Whirlwind and Rend can deal with groups of enemies, while Double Swing can be used against larger targets. Additionally, the Barbarian's defensive abilities, such as Iron Skin and Ground Stomp, are highly effective in the early stages of the game, making them a good choice for players learning the ropes.

Rogue class

The Rogue’s greatest asset, however, is their extensive range of attacks. While not primarily a ranged class, their ability to deal significant damage from afar is especially valuable when paired with their evasive manoeuvres and melee combos. Players can open with ranged strikes, follow up with close-range combos, and wreak havoc on demon foes.

Sorcerers

Meanwhile, Sorcerers are a bit more straightforward to play than Rogues in terms of positioning and timing. That being said, they still require a fair amount of skill to play effectively due to their fragility and mana management concerns. Overall, Sorcerers are a great choice for players who want to deal massive amounts of damage and control the battlefield with their elemental abilities, but they require a bit of patience and practice to truly master.

Which is the best class in Diablo 4 Early Access Beta version?

In the Diablo 4 Early Access beta, the Barbarian currently stands as the strongest overall class, followed closely by the Rogue.

While Rogues have a steep learning curve, their potential is arguably the highest among the three available classes. Although they may die more often than Barbarians, experimentation with their high-end abilities can be rewarding once the player gets the hang of acquiring the necessary resources. Rogues can dominate most threats and become a powerful force in the game.
