Dex, the eldest son of Dana Carvey, overdoses on drugs and dies at age 32
Dex Carvey died at the age of 32 because of an overdose of drugs. His parents shared an Instagram post after his death in which they said the people who are suffering from such problems will always be in our hearts and prayers.

As a budding comedian, Dex served as the opening act for his father's "Straight White Male" Netflix show in 2016. He also starred beside Dana in F. Clint DeNisco's short film "Carpool Pandering" that same year.
Parents announced this sad news on social media through an Instagram post. The post said We experienced a horrible tragedy last night. Dex, our dear son, passed away from an unintentional drug overdose. His age was thirty-two.
He had great skill for a wide range of platforms including comedy, music, painting, and filmmaking, and he pursued them all with enthusiasm.
You also loved life when you were with him. He added humor to everything. Above all, he cherished his relationships with his family, friends, and girlfriend Kaylee. Dex was a lovely individual the post said, "His handcrafted birthday cards are a treasure." He will always be missed.
The post continued by saying that those who are struggling with drug addiction you people will be in our hearts and prayers forever.
He was found unconscious and his body was confined in a bathroom.
