The world first race for the Sundered Doctrine Dungeon in Destiny 2 begins with its release on February 7, 2025. Contest Mode will last for 48 hours. Participants must adhere to specific rules during this period.

Rules

Bungie has outlined rules for Contest Mode that participants need to follow:

Power Level Requirement: Teams must achieve a Power Level of 1995 to match the cap for each encounter.

Gameplay Challenges: Enemies will behave aggressively, and encounters will have enrage mechanics.
Fireteam Ownership: Every participant must own The Final Shape Dungeon Key to access the entry quest, The Drowning Labyrinth.
Revive Limitations: Limited revives are in place, similar to Raids.

To ensure their run is recorded, teams must adhere to the following:

Loot the final chest after completing the final encounter.
At least one member must complete every encounter for the first time and claim loot.

Rewards

Teams completing the Dungeon in Contest Mode will receive a unique Emblem. Completing all encounters guarantees a drop of the Dungeon’s Exotic.
