Destiny 2 Revenant Act 3: All we know about release date, time, weapons and trailer

Destiny 2’s Revenant Act 3 is arriving soon with new challenges, missions and rewards. Players can look forward to Kell’s Fall, the introduction of Slayer’s Fang and Exotic Tonics.

Release Date, Time

Revenant Act 3 will begin on January 7, 2025, at the weekly reset. The reset occurs at 9 AM PT, 5 PM GMT and noon EST. The act concludes on February 4, 2025, when it transitions to Episode Heresy.

Weapons

Each act in Episodes introduces new weapons. While Bungie has yet to share details about Act 3’s weapons, past acts have added significant options to the game’s arsenal.


The final act of Revenant includes Kell’s Fall, an Exotic mission. It features puzzles, hidden rewards, and Slayer’s Fang, a unique Void Shotgun with advanced abilities like Truesight and Heart Piercer.

Slayer’s Fang is an Exotic Void Shotgun. Nightsworn Sight grants Truesight after defeating enemies. Heart Piercer alters the Shotgun’s pellet spread into submunitions on impact, and it can stun Overload Champions.

Past is Prologue is a late addition to Revenant. Players will collaborate with the Drifter and Eris Morn, completing objectives to earn Bento tokens. Rewards include Adept weapons, crafting materials and Mementos.

Artifact Modifications

The final expansion for Revenant’s Artifact comes with Act 3. Although Bungie has not released details, enhancements are expected for Stasis and Arc subclasses, improving existing capabilities.

Exotic Tonics will debut during Act 3. These items may offer enhanced benefits over Legendary Tonics, extending their duration and aligning with their rarity level. Their exact function is yet to be confirmed.
