Destiny 2 Revenant Act 2: What we know about release date and developer livestream

Destiny 2’s Revenant Act 2 is set to expand the gaming experience. Bungie has outlined key dates and features for players to prepare for the launch.

Release Date

Revenant Act 2 will launch on November 19. This will coincide with the weekly reset, scheduled at 9 AM PT, 5 PM GMT, and noon EST, as per the in-game schedule.

Developer Livestream

Bungie will host a developer livestream on November 12. The event will start at 10 AM PT, 6 PM GMT and 1 PM EST. The livestream will provide details about the new activity and rewards coming in Revenant Act 2. Viewers who watch the livestream on Twitch for at least 15 minutes will receive the "We Begin in the Stars" emblem.

New Weapons

Some weapons from Revenant Act 1, such as an SMG, Scout Rifle and Rocket Launcher, are currently unavailable in the game. These items are visible in Collections.

In Act 2, players can expect these weapons to become obtainable from Onslaught: Salvation and the new activity introduced in this update.

Tomb of Elders Activity

The new activity, Tomb of Elders, will be part of Revenant Act 2. Bungie has not released extensive details yet. However, the activity's name suggests it could be a successor to the Prison of Elders from the original Destiny game.

Iron Banner Returns

Iron Banner will return on November 26, one week after Revenant Act 2’s launch. This iteration introduces a new armor set and a Stasis Rocket Sidearm, Tinasha’s Mastery.
