Online video game Destiny is set to offer players something new to do from today with the launching of "Season of Plunder". The patch notes for this unusual experience in gaming are as follows:

Destiny 2 "Season of Plunder" is about pirate ships being relaunched and the guardians sailing through the Sol system in search of adventure. The players get rewarded with pirate weapons, costumes, and a pirate adventure to explore "The Helm".

Season of Plunder would also have the return of King’s Fall raid from the original Destiny, which is loved by all. The players get to go deep inside Oryx’s Dreadnaught and commit regicide. The Destiny 2 game begins on August 26 and will feature the longest and the best raid that Destiny has offered.

ARC 3.0 will be the final Light subclass of this season. Tweaks have been implemented on the three classes, and Hunters have been given a new Super. Good news on the Titans as they get a new Barricade, making them more mobile than ever before and more effective in action in the Crucible.

Bungie, developer of Destiny 2, has announced that there have been changes in many Exotics this season. The Catalyst gets some additions to make the weapon Legend of Acrius more effective against the Champions. Besides changing the environment, Bungie is also bringing new weapons to suit the times and end-game activities.
