Despicable Me: Villain 'Vector' returns in trailer of new short film. Watch here

As the popular animated series comes back in the short film, Illumination Studios has released the trailer of a highly anticipated spin-off featuring Vector.

First appeared against Steve Carell's character 'Gru' in 2010, the film ended with Vector stuck on the moon. Now finally after more than a decade, Vector's story continues as 'Mooned' will share a glimpse of his endeavours to find a way back home.

With trailer released is a thirty-second long video showing Vector. The studios have announced that the spin-off will be a small treat to the fans who will be coming to theatres to watch 'Migration'


The spin-off will be played before 'Migration' which will hit the theatres this Christmas.

Vector has been a blessing for the 'Despicable Me' franchise. The film featuring the character earned over $543.2 million against its budget of $69 million, becoming 2010's ninth-highest-grossing film in the process.

While we were are not aware of what the short film will show us, you can also expect the movie to showcase the other side of Lason Segel's Despicable Me villain.

About Migration:
The new animated feature follows the story of a family of ducks who find themselves in the unfamiliar territory of New York City as they migrate south for the winter. The film flocks into theaters alongside Mooned on December 22, where it will compete against Anyone But You, and the latest DC comic-book movie Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
