Derek Carr had a standout performance at the Bowl Games inaugural in Las Vegas on Thursday, he recorded 31 points to lead his AFC team to a 71-55 win, which gave Raiders three points in the overall tally.

It is most likely to be the last throws he makes as an official member of the Las Vegas Raiders, as two are moving towards fallout this offseason.

After the event Ryan Clark an ESPN analyst asked Derek Carr if he had ever been that hot in Las Vegas, to which he replied negatively and said it’s probably why he is going somewhere else.

This comes after Carr said on Thursday night that he will not increase the February 15 deadline to help the Raiders to facilitate a trade. Carr’s base salary of $32.9 million for 2023 and $7.5 million for 2024 becomes fully guaranteed if he is still with the Raiders for three more days after Super Bowl 2023, which is on Feb. 12.

Raiders signed Carr in the second round in 2014 and are under contract through 2025 after agreeing to a three-year, $121.5 million extension in April.

Carr created a buzz when he was put on the AFC roster as a replacement for Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow around the Pro Bowl Games.

This could be Carr's last time at the Raiders practice facility amid his separation from the team he’s called home for the last nine years.

The quarterback penned a goodbye letter to Raider Nation last month saying he’s looking forward to a new city and a new team.

Carr and the Raiders soured their relationship when he was benched for the final two games of the season with Las Vegas replacing Jarrett Stidham.

After this Carr distanced himself from the team to avoid distractions.
Carr last played on Dec. 24 in a 13-10 loss to the Steelers.
