Delphi 2017 teen murders: New affidavit reveals clues that led detectives to suspect Richard Allen; Know here
According to a probable cause document, an unspent caliber bullet recovered near the bodies of two juvenile Indiana girls was linked to suspect Richard Allen, who was detained in connection with the crimes last month.

Police earlier stated that the two girls went for a trek along Delphi Historic Trails in February of that year but did not appear at a previously scheduled time to meet Libby's father. According to officials, their remains were discovered the following day in a forested area along the path, roughly half a mile from the Monon High Bridge, where they'd been dumped off.
Among the few hints released by officials over the years were a shaky video of a guy strolling and a jumbled audio recording. According to the affidavit, detectives think the proof they collected shows that Allen can be seen on a video from Liberty's phone forcing the girls down a hill and leading them to where they were killed.
Interviews with witnesses in the area where the teens went out to walk on 13 February 2017, as well as footage from Libby's phone, are among the evidence. According to the complaint, the video shows a guy in a black jacket and pants strolling behind the girls and instructing them to go down the hill.
