TV star Declan Donnely and his wife Ali Astall have called their newborn son, 'a ray of light'. They have named him 'Jack Anthony Alphonsus'. The Ant and Dec presenter shared the news on Sunday.

TV star Declan Donnely and wife Ali Astall have welcomed newborn son in the family. Ant and Dec presenter Declan Donnelly said that there has been a new addition to the family and his three-year-old daughter 'Isla Elizabeth Ann' has become a big sister now.

On Twitter, Donnely posted the news of his newborn son. In the post, he showed the fingers of the child wrapped around Declan's hand in an adorable image.

Declan wrote that Ali and he welcomed their newborn son shortly before 10 am on July 23. He has been named 'Jack Anthony Alphonsus'.



He stated that Isla is very excited, and the boy is wonderful. Their well-wishers offered congratulations, and one fan wrote that he was sure that Declan's brother, who had died recently, would be watching from heaven and showering his blessings on the family. One user wrote that he was sure Ant would be happy. He concluded by saying much love to the family!

Another fan congratulated and said that this was a fantastic news at a time when things were so difficult. He added that the child was a ray of light and an excellent playmate for Isla. The announcement was the first time the fans heard about Donnelly wife's pregnancy.
