Hideo Kojima announced that Death Stranding 2 will be released on June 26, 2025, for PlayStation 5. Pre-orders will begin on March 17. The game will continue the story of Sam Bridges in a new journey. Special editions and pre-order bonuses have been revealed.

Death Stranding 2 will be available on PS5 on June 26, 2025. Pre-orders will open on March 17 at 10:00 AM local time. The game will not be released on PS4.

The first Death Stranding was initially a PS4 exclusive before being released on PC and Mac. While there is no confirmation yet, Death Stranding 2 may follow a similar path and become available on other platforms later.

Death Stranding 2 will launch with three different editions:
