The Sunshine Protection Act has not yet been passed. The bill is still in the process and it is still a proposed bill, not the passed bill. The Sunshine Protection Act is handed into the House of Representatives and is not presented to President Joe Biden. It was initially brought into existence in 2021 by Senator Macro Rubio after 2018’s Florida bill having the same name.

The Uniform Time Act of 1966 standardized the time zones and doesn’t entertain permanent daylight saving time.
