David Axelrod, ex-Obama advisor, lists top reasons for Kamala Harris's defeat in U.S elections 2024
Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris eventually got beaten in the US Presidential race by Donald Trump and the eminent Democratic strategist eventually highlighted some grave reasons behind this defeat.

The Hill reported that while David Axelrod acknowledged that these biases were really impactful, they were certainly not the sole reason for the defeat of Kamala Harris. At the same time, he also praised the campaign of Donald Trump as ‘very smart’ while indicating that it was well executed in spite the often irrational behavior of the candidate.

Kamala Harris herself has addressed severe concerns regarding sexism in a prior interview while emphasizing on the fact that voters care far more about a candidate’s ability to perform their duties than their gender, noted The Hill. A latest survey also revealed that 38% of the voters believe that Kamala Harris’s gender hindered her chances while comparing to 13% who felt the same about Donald Trump.
Adding on to that, Maxwell Frost also echoed the similar sentiments as that of David Axelrod while noting that sexism and racism persists in US politics specifically affecting the voter perceptions, asserted The Hill. Maxwell Frost at the same time put an emphasis on the ongoing need to combat these biases as part of achieving equity in the political landscape.
