David Axelrod, ex-Obama advisor, lists top reasons for Kamala Harris's defeat in U.S elections 2024

Renowned Democratic strategist David Axelrod eventually highlighted the major roles of ‘racial bias’ and ‘sexism’ in the recent US Presidential elections while asserting that these factors eventually influenced the outcome of the race between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, reported The Hill. In an interview with CNN, David Axelrod asserted that ‘Let’s be honest about this…. There were appeals to racism in this campaign’.

The Hill reported that while David Axelrod acknowledged that these biases were really impactful, they were certainly not the sole reason for the defeat of Kamala Harris. A latest survey also revealed that 38% of the voters believe that Kamala Harris’s gender hindered her chances while comparing to 13% who felt the same about Donald Trump.
