Plot

The third season picks up six months after the events of Season 2. Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee, played by Kiowa Gordon, are once again at the center of a new investigation. They try to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of two boys. The only clues left behind are an abandoned bicycle and a patch of ground stained with blood.

Meanwhile, Bernadette Manuelito, portrayed by Jessica Matten, has started a new job with the Border Patrol, located 500 miles from her hometown. She stumbles upon a dangerous conspiracy involving human trafficking and drug smuggling, threatening to impact a larger part of the country.
