Danny Masterson gives full custody of 9-year-old daughter to wife after rape conviction

Danny Masterson, 'That 70's Show' star has given full custody of his 9-year-old daughter, Fianna, to estranged wife, Bijou Phillips, a recent legal document obtained by TMZ revealed.

They made this decision after the judgment, as Masterson was convicted and sentenced to 30 years to life for two counts of forcible rape.

The former couple, who had been together for 11 years, filed for separation just a week after his sentencing in September 2023.


Despite standing by Masterson's side throughout the legal proceedings, Bijou Phillips has now filed for divorce, as confirmed by her attorney, Peter A. Lauzon.

Phillips's attorney statement said that Phillips' primary concern remains her daughter, and acknowledges Masterson's role as a caring father.

While they have not openly stated their reasons for the divorce, it is speculated that the move may serve to shield their daughter and protect their joint assets in anticipation of potential civil cases against Masterson in the future.
