Following his passing earlier this week, the late main vocalist of the pioneering OPM (Original Pilipino Music) group, Danny Javier, has received his first posthumous single, "Lahat Tayo." Lorrie Ilustre, Javier's longtime partner and arranger, uploaded the music as a YouTube video. Ilustre also uploaded the video on Facebook, along with a lengthy message about the song's creation. Javier's voice was retrieved from an older Facebook video of him performing the song acapella, and Ilustre composed the background music, converting the original footage into a full-fledged song.
Ilustre also stated that Javier could hear the tune before he died. The producer said that he was able to deliver the tape with his original vocals to his hospital bed "via relatives." The nurse would play music for Danny, and he would nod to indicate that everything was well. That will suffice for him.
The song appears to be designed as a farewell present for Javier's fans, with Ilustre claiming that he sang his farewell ahead of time. Ilustre also stated that the music would be available on streaming sites shortly.
