Daniel Radcliffe clarifies rumors about playing Wolverine in X-Men
Daniel Radcliffe has once again denied rumors that he will be playing the role of Wolverine in the X-Men franchise. During a lie detector test for Vogue, Radcliffe explicitly denied initiating the fan casting speculation. Despite consistently down...

While Radcliffe has consistently downplayed the Wolverine rumors, fans have remained vigilant, eagerly seeking any hint of confirmation. Notably, Radcliffe recently made a striking appearance in the concluding episode of his TBS comedy series "Miracle Workers," appearing only in his underwear, revealing his toned physique, which reignited speculations about his possible involvement in the Wolverine role.
When questioned by Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez, Radcliffe responded, "No... Yes. I got buff because I am obsessive, and I want to... You've seen my parents, they're like insane fitness people. So that's just been passed on. But no. No Wolverine. Flattered, but no."
In a previous interview with GQ magazine a year ago, Radcliffe expressed his frustration with headlines suggesting his connection to the role as mere "press tour rumors." He stated, "I say something, and then occasionally I get bored of answering that way, so I say something different, and that sets it off again... I should just never open my mouth."
Radcliffe went on to express his doubts about taking on such a job, adding, "I just don't ever want to get locked into something that I am not sure I will be able to love the same amount the whole time."
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly last year, the actor addressed the Wolverine claims, underlining that there has never been any real basis for the theories. "Wolverine is short, so every now and then they're like, 'Who's a short actor?'" he said. There's never been any actual truth to it... Every so often I get bored of answering the questions sensibly, so I just make a joke like I did the other day, and that sort of has reignited the rumors of it, but there's nothing going on."
It's worth noting that Wolverine is currently poised for a comeback on the big screen with Hugh Jackman reprising his iconic portrayal of the character in Marvel's "Deadpool 3" alongside Ryan Reynolds in the titular role.
