Dancing With the Stars eliminates Jen Affleck and Jan Ravnik during Halloween Night episode

Ravnik and Affleck became the sixth couple eliminated from season 34 during the Halloween-themed episode broadcast on October 28. Affleck addressed cohosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough following the elimination announcement. "This experience has meant everything to me.

I cannot wait to talk about this in the future with my kids. I did this for my kids and I'm so grateful for the experience," she said. Ravnik, who has recently faced criticism from former professionals Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd, commented on his partner: "She's a rockstar, that's all I'm gonna say."

The duo performed a contemporary routine to Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do." The choreography incorporated the Halloween theme and referenced Ravnik's work as an Eras Tour backup dancer.

Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, Derek Hough and guest judge Cheryl Burke awarded the pair 34 combined points. Additional bonus points from the Dance Monster-thon placed them seventh on the leaderboard.

Dancing With the Stars bottom three couples revealed

Andy Richter and Emma Slater joined Ravnik and Affleck in the bottom three. Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten also landed in the bottom group. Hendrix was hospitalized earlier in the day, resulting in only rehearsal footage being shown for the pair.

Professional dancer defends Dancing With the Stars judges amid criticism

Pasha Pashkov, professional partner to Danielle Fishel, discussed the challenges facing the judging panel in an interview with E! News following the October 21 episode.

"I am in the competition, so I might be biased," Pashkov said, "but in reality, I think judges have the hardest job. Because it's one thing to give your opinion, you know, in a comment online or just in passing, but to then actually make that decision and pick up that number in front of millions of people watching, knowing that you might get a backlash on it is not easy."

The next episode will feature Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame night on November 4.
