Brat, who made history as the first female rapper to earn a platinum certification for her debut album "Funkdafied" in 1994, is now going for another first in her life as she is expecting her first child at 48. She told a media outlet that it's been quite a journey.

On Tuesday, Brat and Judy announced the news and unveiled the former's baby bump in a photo shoot with photographer Derek Blanks, with a gangster theme that aligns with Brat's rapper image.


Brat acknowledges that there may be some potential risks associated with her pregnancy, stating that "there's a lot of stuff we learned about women over the age of 40."

Brat and Judy are already parents to three of Judy's children, but getting to this point was not without its challenges. Brat had to undergo surgery to remove fibroids and polyps from her body to facilitate embryo transfer for her pregnancy.

The couple has revealed that they opted for an anonymous donor and that their pregnancy journey will be documented in Season 3 of their WE TV show "Brat Loves Judy."
