During that time, the ship was sailing near St. Barts, a popular celebrity vacation spot.

The yacht inspection took three hours, and it was reported that it was routine. At the time of the incident, Bezos did not appear to be aboard his boat, and his representative was unavailable.

Except for one instance in which a redheaded stewardess was seen conversing with Sánchez, possibly to inform her of what had occurred, it appeared that the officers' visit had not disrupted the guests.
