Cristiano Ronaldo rejoins Al-Nassr for pre-season training, fires up fans with a passionate message

Cristiano Ronaldo has officially rejoined Al-Nassr for pre-season training in Austria and wasted no time in energising fans with a passionate message. The Portuguese superstar returned to the Saudi Pro League side with a determined mindset, expressing excitement for the new season and confidence in the team’s potential.

Ronaldo is gearing up for another season with Al-Nassr, aiming to finally secure silverware with the Saudi Pro League club. Despite scoring an incredible 93 goals in 105 appearances since his arrival, trophies have so far eluded the 40-year-old.

However, Ronaldo recently extended his contract and will now work under new head coach Jorge Jesus, brought in to reshape the squad for the upcoming campaign.


Sharing a glimpse of pre-season training on Instagram, Ronaldo added a determined message: "It starts now. Eyes on the future. We are all in."

Ronaldo and Al-Nassr are set to face Toulouse in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday at the Untersberg-Arena in Grödig, Austria. The match will offer fans a glimpse of Al-Nassr’s preparations under new head coach, as the team gears up for the upcoming campaign with high expectations.

In February 2025, he celebrated his 40th birthday with a brace against Al-Wasl in the Asian Champions League - his final match as a 39-year-old - and quickly shifted focus to chasing new milestones.
