Morgan Wallen's "Last Night" secures an impressive 16-week reign atop the Billboard Hot 100 this year, surpassing Harry Styles' "As It Was" for the record of the longest No. 1 run for a non-collaboration.
Country singer Morgan Wallen has pipped Taylor Swift and SZA as his song “Last Night” topped Apple Music’s global song chart in 2023, as per the giant music streamer year-end lists which were released on Tuesday. The list provides listeners with data on their own most listened-to songs.

Wallen’s song topped the Global Daily Top 100 chart for 52 days, claiming the title.

Rema’s “Calm Down” remix with Selena Gomez ranked No. 12 on the global songs chart, becoming the highest entry ever for an African song.


At No. 2 is Miley Cyrus' “Flowers” followed by SZA's “Kill Bill” on the third spot. Drake and 21 Savages' “Rich Flex” claimed the fourth pos, while "Snooze", another SZA track took the fifth slot. On the 6th position was Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero.”

SZA, who dominates the 2024 Grammy nominations, claims the title of Apple's most-read lyrics of 2023 with her hit single, "Kill Bill."

Morgan Wallen's "Last Night" secures an impressive 16-week reign atop the Billboard Hot 100 this year, surpassing Harry Styles' "As It Was" for the record of the longest No. 1 run for a non-collaboration. Apple's Replay, a counterpart to Spotify's Wrapped playlist, unveils the year's most popular tracks on Apple Music. This year, the new Apple Music Sing chart highlights the songs users sang along to the most, with J-pop duo YOASOBI claiming the No. 1 spot with their track "????(Idol)."

Replay eligibility is determined by a combination of play counts and time spent listening across Apple Music.

The data released by the music streaming giant also shows that Música Mexicana is increasing its footprints globally. Peso Pluma and Eslabon Armado achieve a historic milestone as their track 'Ella Baila Sola' secures the 18th spot on the Global Daily Top 100. The chart also highlights hits like Grupo Frontera and Bad Bunny's 'un x100to,' Pluma and Natanael Cano's 'PRC,' and Fuerza Regida and Grupo Frontera's 'Bebe Dame.'
