Coronation Street may give numerous shocks to the fans in the coming week. David Neilson's character Roy Cropper finds it challenging to transition to life outside of prison. The physicians arrive with important news, much to Nick and Leanne's anxiety while they wait. What could it be?

Bernie Winter's family revelation

Bernie Winter, played by Jane Hazelgrove, is at the Rovers waiting on Kit, played by Jacob Roberts, to talk about how to tell Paul Foreman, played by Peter Ash, and Gemma Winter, played by Dolly-Rose Campbell, that he is their brother. Bernie doesn't know that Kit goes straight to the apartment to tell the truth for himself, as reported by Metro.co.uk.

Roy's prison agony

Roy was put behind bars not long after Lauren Bolton vanished. His truthful testimony of assisting Lauren was questioned by the authorities, which resulted in his unjust imprisonment and nearly lifelong sentence. Roy was set free in May after fresh information connected Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) to Lauren's case. The real criminal, Joel Deering (Calum Lill), however, is still at large and continues to prey on other young ladies.
