Comedian Trevor Noah receives flak over 'racist' remark
Brits have slammed Trevor Noah over his remark about newly appointed Prime Minister of the UK Rishi Sunak.

London Mayor Sajid Khan mentioned in a tweet that Trevor Noah is wrong. He added that the UK is one of the best multiracial democracies on earth, and he is proud of the historical achievement.
C’mon Piers you’re smarter than that. I wasn’t saying “The entire U.K. is racist”, I was responding to the racists who don’t want Rishi as PM because of his race. That’s why I said. “Some people” 🙃https://t.co/QQgEQ45wJU https://t.co/bhurdPvsE8

Rishi Sunak is the first Asian Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He took over a former Conservative leader and PM after a leadership process on Tuesday.
Rory Stewart, a former Tory leadership competitor, said Noah’s remarks are bizarre and prime examples of lazy stereotyping.
Piers Morgan also tweeted that Noah falsely portrays Britain as a racist country.
Trevor Noah responded to Morgan’s tweet by saying that he did not mean that the entire Britain was racist.
He specifically mentioned that ‘some people are racist.’ He further added that he responded to people against Sunak becoming a PM.
