Colbie Young arrest: Assault on unborn child to charges of battery, here are why Georgia Wide receiver apprehended?

Colbie Young, Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver, was allegedly arrested on misdemeanor charges of battery and assault of an unborn child, reported ESPN. The incident took place while Colbie Young’s ex-girlfriend visited his apartment to seek clarifications about their relationship which eventually turned into a heated argument because Colbie Young was on phone with another woman for the whole time.

According to ESPN, following the heated argument, Colbie Young allegedly pulled her ex-girlfriend out of his room while using derogatory languages towards her. Colbie Young’s ex-girlfriend reported that Colbie Young grabbed her from behind while he was squeezing her torso and abdomen which eventually led to a visible bruising mark.

Ex-girlfriend of Colbie Young was the taken to the hospital following the violent incident for treatment whereas, on the other hand, Colbie Young denied of any wrongdoing whatsoever. Attorney of Colbie Young stated that he did not make any physical contact with her which can be considered criminal and he just escorted his ex-girlfriend to the door and the injuries were certainly not caused by him.

A same kind of incident has happened previously which had involved former Bulldogs receiver Rodarius Rara Thomas, subsequently who was dismissed from the team due to multiple domestic violence charges. ESPN noted that the Georgia athletic department has not made any official comment regarding this grave matter.
