Anime series ‘Code Geass’ has released its new season. The third season, which has been titled ‘Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture’, has been released in the theaters in Japan and is streaming on an OTT platform in the US. Beginning from 2006, over 50 episodes were released in the two previous seasons titled Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection. This has been reported by ‘Collider’.

The original season followed the trail of an exiled Prince, who received a supernatural power called ‘Geass’. He is using these powers to try to lead a rebellion against his father. The new season ‘Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture’ focuses on two mercenary brothers, who are on a rescue mission. It opens with the capture of Sakuya Sumeragi, the daughter of the deceased lord of Hokkaido.

In the US, this is being streamed on Disney+. For those fans who are keen on catching up on the previous two seasons, Crunchyroll is presently streaming it.

Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture will be streamed in four parts. The following are the dates on which the series can be watched on Disney+:

Storyline
The two brothers, known as ‘Nanashi Mercenaries’, have unique abilities. The elder brother Ash has superior athletic abilities while the younger brother Roze is known for his intelligence gathering abilities. While battling the reign of terror, they also have to rescue the daughter of the deceased lord of Hokkaido.
