How does Wordle work? Players need to guess a five-letter word in under six guesses. If you solve the puzzle quickly, then you get the chance to brag about it, obviously! As soon as you have a guess, three separate colors appear in the letters.


If the letter tile turns grey, then the letter you guessed is not in the word altogether.

If the letter tile goes yellow, the letter you guessed appears in the word but not in that particular position.

The third one is the green color. If a letter tile goes green, then the letter you guessed appears in the word, and you have selected the right position as well!

• Never use any letter two times in the first guess
