The inaugural 2023-24 NBA In-Season Tournament will be kicked off with the Cleveland Cavaliers vs the Indiana Pacers game on Friday, November 3. Group A in the Eastern Conference also features the Philadelphia 76ers, the Atlanta Hawks and the Detroit Pistons. Earlier on Saturday, October 28, the Pacers defeated the Cavs 125-113. However, they are down with injuries and things could be different this time.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Indiana Pacers could both be without key players on Friday. The Cleveland Cavaliers face the problem of injuries as their starter Darius Garland has injured his hamstring while Jarrett Allen is recovering from an ankle injury. Both of them are listed as questionable. Similarly, Pacers' star point guard Tyrese Haliburton has injured his ankle and is listed as questionable.
