With payouts ranging from $47 to as much as $15,750, these settlements cover issues from data breaches to defective products and unauthorized charges. Here’s a look at five settlements with upcoming December deadlines.

1. EyeMed Data Breach: File by December 11

EyeMed Vision Care has agreed to a $5 million settlement after a 2020 data breach exposed sensitive customer information, including health insurance accounts, driver’s licenses, and contact details, as per a report. Class members may receive cash for out-of-pocket costs, potential fraud, and lost time, along with a small residual payment of around $50. Eligible participants must submit claims by December 11.

2. Frozen Waffle Recall: File by December 16

TreeHouse Foods is settling a $4 million lawsuit over waffles recalled for potential listeria contamination. Affected products were sold from October 2024 to September 2025 at retailers including Walmart, Target, Aldi, and Dollar General, under brands such as Bettergoods, Clover Valley, and Good & Gather, as per The Sun report. Consumers with proof of purchase can claim a full refund, while those without proof may receive an average retail price for up to two items. Claims must be submitted by December 16.

3. HelloFresh Automatic Renewals: File by December 17

HelloFresh has agreed to a $7.5 million settlement over claims it charged customers for subscription renewals without consent. Those eligible include people who were charged for a first shipment without knowledge, canceled afterward, and never received a refund. Refund claims must be filed by December 17.

4. Jaguar Land Rover Turbocharger Defects: File by December 29

Owners or lessees of certain Range Rover and Land Rover models from 2013 to 2017 may qualify for compensation due to defective turbochargers causing engine damage. Payments can reach up to $15,750, with turbocharger replacements reimbursed up to $3,750 and engine repairs up to $12,000. Claims must be submitted by December 29, as per The Sun report.

The deadline for submissions is December 31.
