Citing health care, incarceration, Democrat Stacey Abrams says Georgia is worst state to live in
The Democratic gubernatorial candidate-in-waiting declared that Georgia is the worst state to live in due to various social factors, in trying to colour the state blue.

No.1 in Maternal Mortality, No. 1 in new HIV cases, No.2 in people not insured, No.6 in infant mortality, No.9 in gun violence, No.48 in mental health, and No.50 in the minimum wage area.
She further went on to say that Georgia however could still become great, provided the governor’s office was associated with greatness. This greatness is however absent in Governor Kemp’s office, and she would be the one to restore that greatness if she became governor. She accused Governor Kemp of doing good for people who are already thriving but not doing anything for people who have not done well. She says she would fight for a united Georgia where everyone would do well.
Her comments did not go down well with either the Republicans or the Governor’s office. Stephen Miller, the erstwhile advisor to the Trump Presidential office, responded in scathing remarks that Stacey’s remarks were the worst slogan for a campaign. Governor Kemp tweeted that Georgia was the best place to stay, work and bring up one’s family and that he would ensure it remains that way. More is awaited from the governor on Monday night when he would address the voters along with former Vice President Mike Pence.
Former Senator David Purdue, a Republican, made racial comments about Stacey Abrams on her criticism of present-day Georgia and asked her to go back to where she belongs. Abrams, a black American, had attended high school and college in Georgia, being born in Wisconsin and raised in Mississippi. Polls however indicate that Governor kemp is ahead of Stacey Abrams for the moment.
