Prime Video has released the trailer for its upcoming Italian spy series Citadel: Diana. The series stars Matilda De Angelis as an undercover Citadel agent battling an enemy syndicate in a near-future Milan.

Prime Video has launched the trailer for its latest spy series Citadel: Diana. The show is produced by Rome-based Cattleya and Amazon MGM Studios.

Cast

Matilda De Angelis, known for her breakout role in The Undoing, plays Diana Cavalieri, a Citadel agent trapped behind enemy lines. Lorenzo Cervasio plays Edo Zani, the heir of Manticore Italy, while Maurizio Lombardi portrays Ettore Zani, the head of the syndicate. Other cast members include Thekla Reuten, Julia Piaton, Filippo Nigro and Bernhard Schütz.

Plot

The series is set in 2030 Milan. Eight years earlier, the spy agency Citadel was destroyed by Manticore, a powerful syndicate that controls world events from the shadows. Diana Cavalieri, who has been working undercover as a mole within Manticore, must now trust an unexpected ally to escape. Edo Zani, heir to the Manticore Italy leadership, becomes her key to survival.

Citadel: Diana will launch worldwide on Prime Video on October 10, 2024. The series is produced by the Russo Brothers' AGBO and showrunner Gina Gardini. It is directed by Arnaldo Catinari and written by Alessandro Fabbri, alongside Ilaria Bernardini, Gianluca Bernardini, Laura Colella and Giordana Mari.
