The storm system, initially responsible for snow in the Rockies and rain in Texas, will continue its trajectory across the Plains and Midwest on Friday. Subsequently, the low-pressure system will traverse Florida and follow the coastline as it progresses north and northeast through the mid-Atlantic, reaching the Northeast by early next week.
