There are no words to represent the horror that took place at the mosques when 51 people were murdered. The perpetrator, who did this, has now appealed against his sentence and wants to be free.

The survivors of the attack said that they were unable to understand the intent behind his request because he himself pleaded guilty to all the crimes.

Prime Minister Jacinda Arden clearly commented that the Christchurch mass killer should get "absolutely nothing."

Tarrant attacked two Christchurch mosques during Friday prayers in March 2019, leaving dozens of worshippers dead. He live-streamed his rampage on Facebook, claiming that he wanted to kill as many as he could.
