American singer-songwriter and guitarist Chris Stapleton has postponed his upcoming concerts due to illness and announced new dates. Addressing his fans in Corpus Christi, Houston, and Lafayette, he said that he is unable to perform this weekend’s shows. In a post on Instagram, he said that he has bronchitis and laryngitis, and on doctor’s orders, he is on vocal rest.

Chris Stapleton also announced new dates for his rescheduled shows in November. The country singer will now appear on November 16 for his concert in Lafayette, Louisiana; November 17 in Houston; and November 18 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Fan supported the 'Tennessee Whiskey' crooner and advised him to rest and recover. Chris Stapleton has said that those who can not attend the concert on the changed dates may contact the point of purchase of the tickets within seven days.

Hit by laryngitis in 2021


Earlier, the eight-time Grammy Award winner was hit by laryngitis in October 2021. His 'All America Road Show' tour will continue until December 2024 and he will stop to perform in cities including Detroit and Chicago.

This song helped him promote his second, third, and fourth studio albums: 2017’s From A Room: Volume 1 and From A Room: Volume 2, and 2020’s Starting Over. The country singer and guitarist has earned 15 career entries on the Hot 100, including the sole top 10 hit, “Say Something” (with Justin Timberlake). The “Scarecrow in the Garden” singer has collected four consecutive Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200. It includes his sole No. 1 title, 2015’s Traveller.
