Chipotle has brought back its fan-favorite buy-one-get-one (BOGO) promotion on Monday, September 15, giving football fans a chance to grab free entrées after 5 pm at participating US locations.

College football jerseys are the ticket

The deal is simple: show up in a college football jersey and get a free entrée with the purchase of another. Other fan gear, like T-shirts or hats, didn’t qualify. The promotion is valid only for in-restaurant orders.

How it works

  • Buy one entrée, get one of equal or lesser value free.

  • Each guest could redeem up to five free entrées per order.

  • Kids’ meals are excluded from the offer.

Football season tie-in

The timing lined up with the return of carne asada to the menu, one of Chipotle’s most popular proteins. While the BOGO was a one-day deal, carne asada will remain available for a limited time across the U.S. and Canada. Chipotle is also waiving delivery fees on carne asada orders through September 30 via its app and website.
