Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has been ruled out of Wednesday afternoon’s matchup against the Atlanta Dream due to a leg injury, the team announced. The Sky did not specify which leg is affected or how the injury occurred. Head coach Tyler Marsh described the decision to sideline Reese as “precautionary.”

Reese recently delivered a strong performance with 22 points and 10 rebounds against the Minnesota Lynx. She is slated to participate in Saturday’s WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis, where she’ll play for Team Napheesa Collier against Team Caitlin Clark — though Clark’s status remains uncertain after suffering a right groin injury in Tuesday’s game against the Connecticut Sun.

This season, Reese is averaging 14 points, a league-leading 12.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, while shooting 45% from the field for the 7-14 Sky.
