At least 14 people, including a 3-year-old child, have suffered injuries in a drive-by shooting on Halloween night in Chicago. According to police, two more children were shot in the attack—one an 11-year-old and the other, a 12-year-old. Emergency services quickly reached the 2700-block of West Flournoy on the West Side after the attack, which occurred around 9:30 pm on October 31. The police said that the rest of the injured were adults, and the attack was over in about three seconds.
Besides, one person was injured after he was hit by a vehicle. The conditions of the 14 people injured ranged from non-life-threatening to critical.
The shooting occurred at the intersection of California and Polk. A police spokesperson stated that they had reported at least 14 people shot, and all the injured were in different conditions, with some being critical. All the victims were taken to different hospitals.
