ChatGPT challenger Grok 3 AI release date, time, features: All about Elon Musk's artificial intelligence chatbot

Elon Musk's AI chatbot Grok 3 is set to be unveiled on Monday. Billionaire Tesla chief said on Saturday that his xAI's artificial intelligence chatbot and ChatGPT challenger Grok 3 would be released with a live demo.

The event will be held at 8 p.m. (PT) on Monday, Reuters reported.

Earlier this week, Musk said Grok 3 was in the final stages of development and would be released in about a week or two.


Grok has multilingual assistance and is available on X platform. Grok-2 was launched in August. It has salient features like recent image generator Aurora, web search among others.

Grok-3 will be three-time faster that Grok-2 and will have better accuracy, multi-lingual and instruction-following capacity.

Musk's announcement came after DeepSeek last month upended the AI world, launching a free AI assistant that it says uses less data at a fraction of the cost of incumbent services. It quickly overtook U.S. rival ChatGPT in downloads from Apple's App Store.
