US President Donald Trump is expected to attend and pay final tributes to the Turning Point USA founder. The right-winger was fatally shot during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday (September 10, 2025).

Kirk’s wife, Erika, addressed the nation following his death and vowed to keep his mission and legacy alive. During the address, she was seen in tears, expressing her love for Charlie Kirk and expressing gratitude to all the respondents.

In a post on X, Turning Point USA, an organization founded by Charlie Kirk, said that his funeral will take place at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, in Glendale, AZ.

“Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend. The morning of Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, in Glendale, AZ,” the X post stated.

Trump said on Friday (September 12, 2025) that he was going to attend the funeral after addressing the nation Wednesday night in an emotional tribute, as reported by New York Post.

“To my great fellow Americans, I am filled with grief and anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk on a college campus in Utah,” he said in a four-minute video posted Wednesday to his Truth Social.

The US president had ordered all American flags to fly at half-staff from Wednesday until Sunday at 6 p.m.

Calling Charlie Kirk a 'perfect' husband and father, she recalled, 'Every day he would ask me how I can be a better husband & father. Every day.'

During her speech, teary eyed Erika asserted that the movement her husband built “will not die.” “If you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you have just unleashed across this entire country,” she said. The suspect in the killing of Charlie Kirk, identified as Tyler Robinson, was held without bail in a Utah jail on several charges, according to officials.

In a video released by her on Instagram, Erika was seen sobbing in tears and kissing her husband’s hand and expressing her love in a quivering voice for the final time as he lay in his casket.
