Charlie Kirk, the executive director of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was reportedly shot at an event on the campus of Utah Valley University. The event was part of The American Comeback Tour, and video showed prominent right-wing activist Charlie Kirk being hit while he was speaking to the crowd. Students ran away in a panic when they heard gunfire.

Videos of Kirk being struck while speaking and sitting under a tent in the Utah Valley University courtyard have gone viral on social media. Kirk was there as a member of the Utah Valley chapter of TPUSA, which hosts The American Comeback Tour. Additionally, there is video of students fleeing the campus after hearing gunshots, as per a report by The Guardian.

Shortly after it was reported that Kirk had been shot, Utah senator Mike Lee wrote on X that he was "tracking the situation at Utah Valley University closely. Please join me in praying for Charlie Kirk and the students gathered there.”
