The American Idol Carrie, before performing her hit song See You Again, told the crowd, "The upcoming song is dedicated to everyone who has ever lost their loved ones."
Further adding, Carrie said, "If today the people whom we loved aren't with us doesn't mean they are not here with us, and it also doesn't mean that you won't be able to see them again."
People also report that Carrie asked the audience to put on their phones or lighters, saying, " In the memory of Ms Naomi Judd, let's light up this entire place and give her the tribute which she deserves."
On Saturday, Ashley and Wynonna, who are the daughters of Naomi, made the announcements about the unfortunate death of Naomi.

The announcement continues with painful lines, "Currently we are completely devastated, and we both are in completely unknown territory. We also know how much we loved our mother so much did her fans."
Previously Carrie had also reacted to this sad news on social media, stating, "Today we lost a true legend; this will be a black spot in the country music. Naomi sings with the angels, and we all are praying for the Judd family and sending those prayers for you as well."
