The Carolina Hurricanes were pitted against the New York Ranges in a Game 7 recently. It was not a good day for them as they lost some of their important players like Antti Raanta and Seth Jarvis. With their best players not around, it would be difficult for the team to make a comeback in the near future.

Jarvis suffered from an upper-body injury which made it difficult for him to continue with the match. Jacob Trouba attempted a first-period hit which didn’t land well and ended up hurting Jarvis. As soon as this happened, a medical support team was sent to attend to Jarvis’ injuries. Ice was applied to the injured part to help him find some relief.

After the match, coach Rod Brind’Armour confirmed that the injury, which Raanta suffered from, was quite serious and he would not be able to play for some time. When he limped his way out of the ground, it was quite clear that the injury was causing a lot of pain to him.

Carolina lost out on two power-play goals in the initial few minutes of the game. Their performance was very good and it made the opponent a little jittery as well. However, the injuries faced by the two players made things difficult for them after a point.
