Carol & The End of The World to premiere on Netflix, know about the date, cast, season & more

Carol & The End Of The World, an American animated series will be released across the world on the Netflix OTT platform. The series will consist of 10 episodes and the scheduled date for the release is December 15.

The show is produced by Canadian-based Bardel Entertainment, which is known to have produced several popular animated movies and series. The animation studio has also provided animation for several of Netflix's projects including Dinotrux, Puss in Boots, and All Heil King Julien.

According to Netflix, Carol & The End of The World will just have one season. The OTT platform has labeled the show as a limited series in its app. The 10-episode series will have a runtime of 30 minutes each.


With regards to the voice cast of Carol & The End of The World series: Martha Kelly of Euphoria fame has lent her voice to Carol; others who are a part of the voice-over are Beth Grant, Lawrence Pressman, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, Mel Rodriguez, Bridget Everett, Michael Chernus, and Delbert Hunt. Guterman and Donick Cary are the executive producers of the series while Kevin Arrieta is serving as co-executive producer.

According to Netflix the plot of the series: “With a mysterious planet hurtling towards Earth, extinction is imminent for the people of the world. While most feel liberated to pursue their wildest dreams, one quiet and always uncomfortable woman stands alone — lost among the hedonistic masses.”

It is interesting to note that Netflix is not seriously pushing for this series owing to its recent animated series which could not fare well and leading to cancellations of the likes of Farzar and Captain Fall. Netflix Animation has recently undergone a significant makeover in both films and television shows, and this particular series appears to have been produced by a different team.
