'Candy Cane Lane' trailer released: Know about release date, cast, director, producer

The official trailer for 'Candy Cane Lane' has been released on Prime Video. Eddie Murphy, Tracee Ellis Ross and others have featured in the trailer, in which their children battle a naughty elf, played by Jillian Bell. This holiday film revolves around Chris Carver (Murphy) who wants to win his neighborhood’s annual Christmas home decoration contest. He and his daughter, Holly (Madison Thomas), stumble suddenly and find a mysterious festive store, where Bell’s Pepper tells him she can make any Christmas wish come true.

Elf casts magical spell

In an effort to increase his chances of winning, Chris wishes for the best Christmas ever. But to his surprise, he wakes up the next day to find that the elf casts a magical spell that brings to life the 12 Days of Christmas. He wreaks havoc on the whole town.


According to the description given, "At the risk of ruining the holidays for his family, Chris, his wife Carol, and their three children must race against the clock to break Pepper’s spell, battle deviously magical characters and save Christmas for everyone."
