Canadian rapper Pat Stay passed away at age 36 after being stabbed in the heart of downtown Halifax in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Pat was rushed to the hospital but died shortly after due to severe injuries. Although police haven't officially confirmed it, the rapper's brother, Pete Stay, informed that he had passed away on Sunday morning.
The authorities responded to the tragic situation timely. According to reports, no one has been arrested in connection with the stabbing as of September 4, and authorities are requesting that anyone with information must contact them.
The Dartmouth, Nova Scotia rapper frequently engaged in freestyle battles, wordplay, and insults with other rappers on stages. He rapidly became popular in the community. Despite his success, he admitted that he lacked the relationships to be featured on significant media sources or platforms. Only hours before his passing, he sought his fans' assistance in increasing the visibility of his Instagram story.
Drake commended him in a song where The Game was mocked.
In a recently released song, Drake can be heard saying, 'Pat Stay's definitely one of, if not the best''. A copy of Dido's song 'Thank You,' which was also included in Eminem's song 'Stan' from 2000, can be heard in the diss song's YouTube video, which has earned over 109K views.

The hip-hop singer was a father to his 10-year-old daughter Alaura and 5-year-old son Calvin. On social media, he would share photos of them and sincere messages in honor of significant occasions like their birthdays. The loving father shared images of Calvin on social media for his birthday last week, including one in which he was cuddling up to him.
Pat Stay's demise drew on numerous social media tributes.
