‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III’ set to release on November 10: How to pre-order

The third installment of the reboot series "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III" will release on Friday.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, developed by Sledgehammer Games and Activision, is an immersive first-person shooter game with open-world elements. Serving as a reboot of the 2011 title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Modern Warfare III centers around the pursuit of the Russian ultranationalist and terrorist, Vladimir Makarov, by the multinational special operations unit Task Force 141. Makarov's ambitions to incite World War III necessitate urgent intervention from Task Force 141, who must thwart his nefarious plans and subdue his widespread military forces.

The game offers 16 base maps from its predecessor, Modern Warfare II, along with an innovative special Zombie Mode that unfolds in an open-world setting, a first in the Call of Duty series. Players have the option to engage in either linear missions, characterized by direct and scripted gameplay, or "Open Combat Missions," which provide a dynamic and expansive open-world experience. Furthermore, Modern Warfare III supports online multiplayer, accommodating up to 24 players simultaneously.


Among its notable features, the "Carry Forward" option allows players to import their inventory from Modern Warfare II into Modern Warfare III, enabling a seamless transition of weapons and gear without the need for re-collection or upgrades.

The game is available in two editions: Standard and Cross-Gen. The Standard Edition offers the game itself, while the Cross-Gen Edition includes the base game and five comprehensive content packs, granting players early access, new locations, missions, characters, and various other bonuses that are readily accessible.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III comes out for PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4 and Xbox One, and is available for pre-order for $69.99 each at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and Target.
