To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is making a comeback. The popular video game is set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC via Battle.net and Steam on November 10.

The multiplayer mode in Modern Warfare 3 will feature all 16 launch maps from the 2009 version of Modern Warfare 2, updated to accommodate the series' latest mechanics introduced over the past 13 years. The notorious series antagonist, Makarov, returns to headline the single-player campaign, and a fresh Zombies mode will make its debut.

However, Modern Warfare 3 isn't just relying on the past. It introduces the Tac-Stance feature, enhancing gunplay by bridging the gap between hip firing and aiming down sights, providing improved weapon handling and mobility.

Furthermore, the Aftermarket Parts feature offers greater weapon customization, allowing players to transform their favorite firearms significantly. Examples include converting a pistol into a fully automatic carbine or condensing an LMG into a bullpup configuration, effectively creating entirely new weapons.

For fans eager to get a taste of the action ahead of the official release, Modern Warfare 3 will host two open betas. The first will be exclusive to PlayStation consoles and begins on October 8 (or October 6 for early access), ending on October 10. The second open beta, playable on all platforms, kicks off on October 14 (or October 12 for early access) and concludes on October 16. Pre-ordering any edition grants early access to the open betas and the single-player campaign, available a week ahead of the November 10 launch.
