A male nanny in California has been sentenced to an astonishing 707 years in prison after being convicted of molesting 16 boys. Prior to his sentencing, the 34-year-old nanny, Matthew Zakrzewski, expressed pride in bringing smiles to the children he later sexually assaulted.

Convicted on 34 felony counts, including lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under 14, Zakrzewski's appalling abuse involved molesting 16 boys entrusted to his care and exposing pornography to a 17th child, as disclosed by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

The series of heinous crimes unfolded across a span of over three years, starting from January 2014 to May 2019. Shockingly, his victims were as young as 2 and as old as 12 years old.

The district attorney described this case as a tragic loss of innocence for these 17 children, stealing away their childhoods.

Back in October, Zakrzewski was found guilty of all 34 felony charges. At the time of his conviction, he was facing a possible maximum sentence of 690 years to life in addition to an extra eight years behind bars.
